The Parisian fashion company Céline was founded in 1945 and is known worldwide for its men’s and women’s clothing in haute couture style. In 1960 the founder Céline Vipiana designed the first leather bags and accessories and already in those years made a name for the high-quality designs. A few years later the label expanded its repertoire and created sporty collections in Parisian chic. Céline remains true to this fashion style to this day, but now under the direction of French designer Hedi Slimane. He combines his skin-couture designs with classic and carefully crafted leather goods.

Women: Summer & Winter for Women

Masculine cuts and feminine elements are masterfully combined in the new collections by Céline. Designer Hedi Slimane mainly uses material mixes and leads well-dressed into the new season.

Winter Collection: Parade

Masculine cut jackets, wide boots in combination with feminine cut-out bodysuits. Wide boyfriend jeans in an interplay with a casual hoodie and classic tweed jacket in 1950s style. And lots of glitter dresses with casual oversized coats. With the new garments, Céline brings glamour to the gloomy winter. The new collection “Parade”, which was designed by Hedi Slimane, breaks any style rules! The entire collection is presented in the magnificent grounds of Château de Vaux-Le Vicomte in Maincy, France, through which the models strut impressively as if in a parade.

Summer: Sporty Chic

On the running track of the “Stadium Louis II” in Monaco, the designer Hedi Slimane presents the new Céline summer collection 2021. Just as sporty as the location, the new luxury pieces are also convincing! The designer focuses on sporty chic and combines, for example, casual bustiers with elegant blazers. He also mixes different materials, such as sparkling sequins with chunky knits or a bag made of rattan. Slimane creates great highlights with high-quality accessories. He complements the sporty look with filigree belts, a glittering hair band on the wrist, a casual cap and an elegant leather bag in Céline style.

Men: Summer & Winter for men

Céline’s summer and winter collections couldn’t be more opposite! The winter fashion is all about the “Gothic” style and shows gloomy garments and imposing accessories. In contrast, the summer collection shines with metallic fabrics and colorful animal prints.

Winter: Teen Knight Poem

The fashion show is almost too creepy to be true, as the opening model wears a black visor cap with Céline print. In keeping with the style of the clothes, the winter collection “Teen Knight Poem” is presented in the Gothic castle of Chambord. Just as gloomy as the setting are the garments, which are predominantly dark gothic in style: Under warm leather-look puffer jackets, for example, the models wear ruffs. The looks are rounded off with chokers and edgy chain earrings.

Summer: The Dancing Kid

A cardigan and boots in summer? Designer Hedi Slimane achieves the seemingly impossible and combines wintry pieces with tropical swim trunks. For the special extravagance Slimane uses great animal prints and metallic fabrics. A special highlight of the collection is the gold and black sequin blazer in tiger print! The collection “The Dancing Kid” is presented at the Circuit Paul Ricard in the south of France and makes every boy dance with the new extravagant garments in the sporty setting.

Campaign: Les Grands Classiques

Luxury brand Céline presents its classics under the direction of Hedi Slimane. Included, for example, is the calfskin “Triomphe” shoulder bag with iconic Triomphe metal clasp. But what would Céline be without the classic double-breasted “Tournon” jacket, which suits every occasion and outfit. The campaign features two of the classic “Tournon jackets”: The model in high-quality lambskin leather or with Prince de Galles check pattern.

Céline Haute Perfumery

In 2019, the first Céline Haute Perfumery boutique opened in Paris, delighting with nine exceptional unisex fragrances. Whether for day or evening, each Céline perfume can be worn for different occasions. The creations are traditionally made and inspire with French charm.

Not only the fragrances themselves are an experience for the senses, but also a visit to the Paris boutique. The perfume creations are presented on elegant marble shelves. A sophisticated mirror covering multiplies the perfumes into an endless expanse.
