Dorothee Schumacher

Dorothee Schumacher founded the fashion label Schumacher in 1989, after her apprenticeship at the clothing store Peek & Cloppenburg . In 1994, already 5 years later, the fashion designer expanded to Italy and established herself all over the world. After she opened the Fashion Week in New York with her collection in 2010, she has made a name for herself worldwide as one of the best fashion designers in the world. Under her model label Schumacher she designs fashion for “women who expect a lot from life, who live and love passionately”, according to Dorothee Schumacher herself. With her collections, which represent a mixture of elegance and playfulness, Dorothee Schumacher is ranked 6th among the best fashion designers from Germany.
