Nike – The most famous sports brand in the world

Who hasn’t heard of this brand? Nike runs the sports shops, but it’s not just his sportswear that’s convincing, it’s also his casual everyday clothes. The brand is known for its famous Nike Air shoes. Today, the hook with the “Just Do It” logo adorns all sports bhs, sweatpants, shoes and leggings.

Air Max and Air Force – The shoe classics from Niek

The Air Max and the Air Force are particularly popular with boys, girls, women and men – in other words with everyone. The models have been around for ages, but they are still reinvented time and again. Through new designs, through cooperation with designers but also through new, lighter materials. Nike has created a true classic.

The Air Max models are as colourful as the new campaign with Lisa and Louisa.

Who owns Nike? When did Nike originate?

Nike Inc. was founded in 1964 as “Blue Ribbon Sports” by two real pioneers Phil Knight and Bill Bowermann. Currently, Mark Parker (CEO and President) and Philip Knight (Chairman) run the company. Did you know? Bowermann was then Knight’s coach at the University of Orgeon. Knight was an athlete then – one of the key reasons for founding Nike!

Where does the brand Nike?

come from?
Currently, Nike is still based in Beaverton, Oregon, USA:

Why was Nike founded?

The world is becoming more and more colourful, even back in 1964, shortly after Woodstock. Since it was founded as “Blue Ribbon Sports”, the brand only became known as Nike in 1971. In addition, Knight (one of the founders) was Leichathelt himself. Together with his coach, he then founded Nike, which is now a world brand and the largest sports brand in the world.
