Almost two years ago, Ela Holscher opened her store “Ela Selected” in the workshop of a former factory. The store only stocks labels and designers who adhere to fair trade standards. In addition to selected collections and accessories, there are also art pieces, magazines and lifestyle products.
The Wunderland, which is only a few metres away from the Kö, offers exclusive fashion from the world’s best designers, which you rarely find even in the fashion metropolis of Düsseldorf. Selected pieces by Viktor & Rolf hang next to Vivienne Westwood, Kenzo and Jean Paul Gaultier. A visit is worth it for the extraordinary location alone.
Since autumn 2012, Düsseldorf has been home to the first concept store dedicated to streetwear from the international club scene and the stylish “underground” brand “BOY London”. With their purist-designed store “Clubkid”, in the premises of a former art gallery, Klaus D. Wolf and Lukas Raab want to bring not only fashion, but also the specific lifestyle and spirit of BOY London to Düsseldorf.
