Spring/summer collection: romantic and individual

The show took place in Milan. For this collection, Piccioli, the current head of the label, focused more on the identity of the brand, less on the aesthetics. This statement about identity was supported by the fact that the collection is purely individual pieces, promoting an expression of different characters, of young men and women, from different social backgrounds. It is clear here that anyone can wear Valentino and the label values uniqueness.

Some of the pieces in the collection are very brightly colored, making them an excellent color match for the factory floor’s environment, which is decorated with flowers and other plants. The designer stated that he had romance in mind when creating the collection and also implemented this motif at the show.

Spring/Summer Collection: Ready for Vacation

Piercolli’s collection is described as refreshing and radiantly beautiful, as the top designer used many bright white, but also bright colours for here.

Piercolli rightly named the collection “Ready for Vacation”, because with these clothes you really get into the holiday mood. The fresh colours and jungle motifs create a summery and exuberant mood that almost screams holiday!

Autumn/Winter Collection: Ready-to-Wear

The collection puts black and white looks in the foreground. Geometric patterns and the cut create a classic look. The garments are presented in a large darkened hall. For the models who are walking, there is spotlight lighting that shines only on them, giving them a clear spotlight. This gives the designer’s pieces complete attention. This, according to the designer, is meant to be a reflection of the time of the Corona Pandemic, which drew the focus of the entire world.

Autumn / winter collection for men

This collection for men is predominantly in darker tones. In contrast, many of the pieces have brighter floral patterns that immediately catch the eye. These lighten up the rather austere style of warm clothing and add a bit of vibrancy to the dreary winter days. Accompanying the show, a woman in a gorgeous glittering dress sings on a stage.

Haute Couture Show: Golden in Rome

Besides golden and various shades of white and brown, this collection also shines in striking bright colors. Both male and female models show off golden elements on their faces while presenting the clothes. Some of them balance on breakneck platform heels through the large hall of Galleria Colonna in Rome. The colors of the clothes harmonize with this environment, as gold and marble tones are also found in the room as ornaments and decorative elements.
