Direct Booking

A direct booking refers to the booking of a model without any previous castings or go & sees having taken place.

In this case, the client selects the model solely on the basis of their compcard (sometimes also sedcard) and their model book. With direct bookings, there is a risk that the client may not be satisfied when they meet the model in person. To minimize this risk, agencies often offer the client the opportunity to provide recentPolaroid photos and short introductory videos of the selected models in advance.

Direct bookings are usually given to experienced models who have high-quality image material.

The better known a model is, the greater the chance of receiving regular direct bookings.

This system enables clients to book models for their projects quickly and specifically, based on the information available and the model’s reputation.
