Availability – Non-binding inquiry
Whenever your bookers send you a request, you will either be asked for a specific option or just for your availability. With the option, you are already making a firm commitment to keep the date free. However, if your model agent only asks for your availability, you do not have to keep the date free yet.
Different obligations for options and availability
It’s often just a matter of giving the customer some initial rough information as to whether or not you have time on the desired production day. The request is often still very vague or the shooting date has not yet been confirmed by the client. So if you hear about availability, you don’t have to keep the day free. Quite different from an option!
