New York Fashion Week: High Fashion Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren & Co

As a model in New York, Fashion Week is of course one of the most important dates of the year. The most famous designers all in one place and new collections that are ideally presented by you. Four times a year everything revolves around fashion. There are both fashion for women, as well as for men to see. The New York Fashion Week belongs to the “Big Four”, because it is next to the Fashion Weeks in London, Paris and Milan one of the most viewed and best known events of this kind.

There is always something going on in New York. Fashion Week in New York is a fashion week that takes place four times a year. Khaite is a fashion brand for women that reflects classic, new-age American fashion. The brand became really famous for its cashmere bra, which was constantly sold out. Katie Holmes was photographed wearing one of the brand’s cardigan bra ensembles, and the picture went viral – followed by constant requests for the piece.

Michael Kors

The fashion show of Michael Kors is and remains a true classic – whether he incorporates the “Town-and-Country” or the glamour style. The outfits of the famous New York fashion designer are presented by famous faces like Kaia Gerber and Bella Hadid.

Ralph Lauren

Ralph Lauren is part of the hard core of Fashion Week with his always recognizable style. He is extremely popular with his chic and recognizable fashion: classic, tailored, tweed and lamé looks reminiscent of English aristocrats.

Marc Jacobs

Marc Jacobs is going for a very edgy style in his Fall/Winter 2020 collection. Singer Miley Cyrus walked the catwalk as a star model – she has long called the designer her fashion mentor and was a perfect match for the staged Park Avenue Armory style on the runway.

Rodarte

Behind Rodarte are 2 sisters who caught the eyes of the audience with a theatrical production. Stars like Bella Hadid walked their runway, which perfectly reflected the aesthetic style with puffed sleeves, ruffles and gold accents.

Longchamp

Specializing in leather goods since 1948, the French luxury brand focused on bomber jackets with shearling collars, wide leather belts and layered looks with statement pieces in patent and leather. Creative director Sophie Delafontaine says the inspiration for the iconic collection was the ’70s.

Coach

His show featured bright pops of color, leather coats and colorful socks in retro sneakers – very eye-catching, in other words! Some pieces featured motifs by the late artist Jean-Michael Basquiat. Basquiat’s niece walked the runway for this one.

Jeremy Scott

The creative director of the fashion house Moschino focuses on unusual pieces that have been offset with lettering, patterns and much more. Lacquer and leather & biker jackets are among the styles in the front row. Jeremy Scott is known for his unconventional styles and patterns – for him there are no limits.

Tom Ford

The US-American fashion designer, who was a designer for Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent for a long time before founding his own brand Tom Ford, focuses on chic and elegant style: blazers, long skirts and fancy hair are not to be missed.

Versace

Versace is known for the edgy and recognizable looks – lots of patterns, colors, unusual materials but still elegant. Famous faces like Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid or Kaia Gerber walk the runway of Versace.

Brandon Maxwell

The American designer has a more casual but elegant style in his clothes – not much fuss but still eye-catching. Maxwell even once took on the role as Lady Gaga’s fashion director and has designed many of her stunning looks.
