Model casting: New dates!

The fashion circus is back in Berlin! Not only the Fashion Week shines this week with great events but also our model agency in the House Of Weekend – the most beautiful location in Berlin central- above the rooftops of Berlin! Fashion, catwalk, advertising, Curvy Models – we want you! If you are at least 15 years old and you always wanted to model, mark July 4th red in your calendar and come to Berlin. If you know someone – friends, partners, family… who has what it takes to be a model and whom our jury should definitely look at, bring him or her directly with you.

Your registration for CM Live Casting

In order to be able to participate in the casting, we need some information from you in advance. Send us a simple application including your personal data – name, place of residence and contact details – as well as two photos of you, so that we can let you know in time if you will be there. You can take the photos easily with your mobile phone or smartphone, good daylight is important so that we get a realistic impression of your look. We need a portrait and a full body photo of you, everything natural – so no make-up or styling and neutral clothes: black jeans, plain shoes, white shirt – because you stand in the foreground! Maybe you know someone who can help you with the photos. Quickly summarized once again:

As soon as we receive your application, it will be reviewed by our Model Scout – and with a little luck he will send you an invitation to a live casting in Berlin! If you don’t get an invitation within 48 hours, it wasn’t enough this time.

Casting procedure, jury and presentation (Gosee)

There is of course a lot to organize and plan for Fashion Week, so the castings are limited to 2 hours. During these 2 hours all invited models come together and present themselves to our four-member jury.

1st Gosee: Quick presentation to the jury

The jury consists of our Head of Scouting and our Head of Booking. But also two special guests, an influencer and a guest from the fashion industry, with objectivity and a lot of experience, take a look at the new talents in Berlin. As a model you have about one or two minutes to introduce yourself at the casting. You run to the jury, introduce yourself – name your place of residence, your languages and your hobbies – and make a short catwalk walk. It’s very simple: You walk away from the jury and back again. The judges can judge your run as well as your figure better – and of course also you, which looks and which facial expressions do you use? This is enough for the jury to reach an initial verdict.

2nd recall: Round two with more time and talk

After the first round all models who made it into the recall will be called. They will then be examined more closely by our jury in a second round. Here you no longer have one or two minutes, but a little more time, and we will take the first photos of you. Those who survive the recall have already made it far!

3rd test shootings besides to Fashion Week

For all those who have been convincing so far, appointments for individual photo shoots will be arranged with our fashion photographers within the following 5 days, so that we can see exactly how you perform in front of the camera – this is the third round!

That’s it! Waiting for the decision

If you’ve done it all, you’re on the verge of a modeling contract with CM Models. As you can see from our preliminary work, we put a lot of effort into the selection of models, because we work with large and well-known customers like Prada, Dior, Peek & Cloppenburg, Deichmann, Microsoft, VW and many other companies. We also work a lot abroad. Some of our models are currently in Tokyo/Japan and Milan/Italy to Miami/USA. With us you have great opportunities, but we also expect a lot of motivation and commitment from you. As every year, our scouts and agents meet in Berlin. Not only to celebrate fashion, but also to find new talent for fashion designers together with Modemagazin FIV. Every 6 months there is a new Fashion Week in Berlin, in Paris and Milan even more frequently. The jobs and tasks of a model are as varied as the models themselves – from the ambitious sportsman to the girl who masters 500 different musical instruments. Every month there are new collections in the city centres – from large fashion department stores to boutiques, a huge range of job opportunities. Electronic manufacturers are bringing new smartphones onto the market and new TV sets or cars are constantly being produced. In between a beauty campaign and afterwards we go to the job for hair products. Our job as a model agency in Berlin is to bring customers and the latest trends together.
