ESCADA Fashion – Show in Frankfurt

Eine luxuriöse Location, die neue Kollektion von Escada, ein begeistertes Publikum. Freitagabend wurde im Steigenberger Hotel – Frankfurter Hof die neue Escada und Escada Sport Pre-Fall Kollektion präsentiert. Zwei ausgewählte Models präsentierten die durch Pastelltöne-geprägte Mode auf einem Catwalk im Spa-Bereich des renommierten 5-Sterne-Hotels. Unser CM Models Team saß in der ersten Reihe, Michelle berichtet euch exklusive Eindrücke der Escada Modenschau.

ESCADA Pre-Fall Collection 2015 at the Frankfurter Hof

We have hardly reached the Steigenberger Hotel – Frankfurter Hof in Frankfurt am Main when we are already greeted in a friendly manner by a porter in top hat and uniform. Fancy cars drive up, a red carpet paves the entrance area of the hotel. From 6 p.m. on, the guests of the Escada fashion show gather in the spa area of the luxurious hotel. Today, this will serve as a catwalk for the models. An excellent location for the exclusive presentation of the new ESCADA and Escada Sport Pre-Fall Collection 2015.

We are excited about the new collection of the British-Indian fashion label. The philosophy of the fashion house has changed: In the 90’s Escada stood for luxurious jet-set fashion in Germany. Today, the noble brand still stands for luxury, quality, art and culture, but also for a contemporary lifestyle of the modern, tech-savvy and well-travelled woman.

CM Models goes ESCADA Fashion Show

Our CM Models team was personally invited to the Escada fashion show and is on the guest list; with them are model and catwalk expert Giuseppe Buonvino, CEO Stephan Czaja and model agent Regina Steinpress. We excitedly make our way to the spa area. The gleaming gold elevator takes us to the first floor, we walk down long corridors and can finally already hear the excited voices of the first guests. A large double door stands open: We are in the right place! The audience has dressed up properly, ladies present themselves in beautiful cocktail dresses or fine jump suits, men wear suits: WOW! A waiter obligingly offers us sparkling wine and homemade lemonade. We briefly hand in our jackets at the cloakroom and treat ourselves to a glass of sparkling wine: Here’s to a wonderful evening and an inspiring fashion show by Escada.

The fashion house ESCADA – A new zeitgeist

The last few years the once so successful fashion label struggled with insolvency and got back on its feet thanks to a change of ownership. Entrepreneur Megha Mittal brought a new shine and gave the luxury company a new face. In 2014, the Escada fashion label had withdrawn entirely from the major runways, with no new collections being presented. Quietly, we now know, new ideas and designs were being worked on. Since the beginning of 2015 then again the start with a new autumn/winter collection of the fashion brand in Munich. Escada is back on the catwalks of the fashion world.

And Action: ESCADA Fashion Show begins

The music gets a little louder, conversations are interrupted, all heads turn tensely towards the catwalk. The photographers get into position and start flashing. The first model enters the spa area. Casual outfits are presented first, pastel sweaters, matching pants and scarves, as well as flowered and pastel quilted jackets. We learn that the entire collection is dominated by sophisticated pastel tones. There are small breaks between each outfit presentation. Delicious snacks are served and waiters provide the guests with drinks. Our CM Models team gets to know interesting personalities, we have nice conversations.

The mood is consistently good, again and again people clap and marvel at the new Escada creations. Not only the photographers snap enthusiastically, but also the guests whip out their cameras. The show continues with chic, business-appropriate dresses and costumes. A pastel pink costume with peplum particularly catches my eye. DREAMING! Besides knee-length, slightly flared dresses in classic black, a rich red also makes its mark in the collection. We are thrilled. Chic, sophisticated outfits that can be worn both during the day in the office and in the evening in a bar or restaurant. Practical, serious AND elegant.

To top it off, a model dances down the catwalk in ballerina lace shoes. Escada picks up on dance elements. The red, long gown blows around the model’s legs during the many pirouettes. Extraordinary and good. The last photos are snapped, even the head of the spa area wants a picture with our team. We get a short, personal tour through the location. Highly recommended is the nostalgic barbar shop, where men can not only have their beard styled, but also enjoy the afternoon with a glass of Wiskey. Before we head back to our car, we get a little goodie bag in our hands. A long, interesting and inspiring evening comes to an end. We are happy about the new impressions we were able to gain through Escada and head off towards Cologne.
