Go & See – The short introduction for models

The client often arranges Go & See appointments with the model to get a personal impression and to take possible snapshots. Go & See appointments are also arranged without a direct job request and can lead to subsequent direct bookings, i.e. the client wants to get to know the model for potential follow-up jobs.

The Go & See is a quick casting. As a rule, you briefly introduce yourself and present your model book. After a brief appraisal by the jury / agency / client, a short walk usually starts followed by posing. Many models often present themselves in one day. This is where you as a model learn to deal with rejections, as usually only a few, often even only one model is booked for the job in question.

Don’t forget to appear without make-up, in a natural look. Your clothes should be simple, as should your hair. As a female model, you should also think about high heels, skin-colored underwear and possibly a bikini. The most important thing, however, is your book, which shows how versatile you are as a model.
